ABOUT ME

''Return to flow'' is a independently run practice for Professional Massage therapy, to help clients regain their individual needs. Sonja Corzano is the primary practitioner at “Return to Flow”. Sonja knows that the flow of internal energy and the outer experiences of life are always changing. Her practice focuses on balance, alignment and self awareness. Sonja has graduated from East West College of Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. She has been taught and motivated by many teachers that have been practicing in the arts for decades. Their passion for teaching about the body is unparalleled. East West College teaches both the Eastern and Western theories of health and wellness.

Sonja Corzano was raised in Los Angeles California. Her passion in life is the art of Dance. Growing up in the dance world has made her more aware of her body. She has been mastering her art for about 7 years. Through out her experience with dance she has seen the importance of health and wellness. Sonja has practiced with many dance troops, she would always be leading and facilitating stretches and warm ups. It was important to make sure her team was physically fit, warm and flexible. The same passion that led her to strengthen her team also took her on a beautiful journey toward the Healing Arts. Sonja starts her session by evaluating the client's needs followed by a postural assessment. Her goal is to bring more balance and alignment in the body. She will observe the body and its natural movement through awareness of breath, range of motion, testing for joint mobilization as well as observing the tension in the muscles. Through her practice of healing others she has a better understanding of the body and herself.

Sonja’s practice is based around Eastern and Western theory. Her specialties are Thai Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep tissue and Swedish Massage.
